Iruka — Terms of Use

Please read these terms before using Iruka. By downloading or using the app you agree to them.
1. License
Dorien Herremans grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Iruka on up to the number of Macs permitted by the license tier you purchased (Personal: 3 Macs; Team: 10 Macs). You may not sublicense, sell, or redistribute the software.
2. Ownership
Iruka is licensed, not sold. All intellectual property rights remain with Dorien Herremans.
3. Acceptable use
You may use Iruka for any lawful personal or commercial purpose. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code.
4. No warranty
Iruka is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. There is no guarantee that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose.
5. Data loss disclaimer
Iruka is a file manager. It can move, rename, copy, delete, and permanently remove files from your computer. You are solely responsible for maintaining adequate backups of your data before using the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dorien Herremans is not liable for any loss, corruption, or destruction of files or data arising from your use of Iruka, including but not limited to accidental deletion, overwriting, or any other file operation performed by or through the app.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Dorien Herremans for any claim arising out of your use of Iruka shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license. In no event shall Dorien Herremans be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
7. Refunds
Refund requests are handled at the discretion of Dorien Herremans within 14 days of purchase. Open a thread in GitHub Discussions with your order number.
8. Updates
License tiers include free updates for the period stated at purchase (1 year or 3 years from the date the license key was issued). After that period the app continues to function; only access to future updates requires renewal.
9. Termination
Your license terminates automatically if you breach these terms. On termination you must stop using the app and delete all copies.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
